Frequently Asked Questions

Clear answers regarding licensing and using icons in your commercial products.

Can I use SVG Nexus icons in commercial client projects for free?

Each icon page lists its recorded source and license. Review the original license terms and any trademark rights before use.

How do I change icon colors dynamically in code?

You can adjust colors in our browser SVG editor before downloading, or rely on currentColor inheritance in React, Next.js, and Flutter using standard CSS classes.

Do I need an account to use the browser tools?

No account is required. Editing, optimization, and export run in your browser; other site features may use server services.

Can I use every icon commercially?

No single license covers every icon. Check the individual icon page for its upstream source, license, and attribution requirements before using it.

Which frameworks can I export to?

The Studio exports React, Next.js, Vue, Svelte, React Native, Flutter, Angular, HTML/SVG, CSS masks, and Web Components. Some targets need their usual SVG package.

How do I find a country flag?

Search by the country name, its code, or “flag”, then open the result to view its source and download options.

What should I do if an icon preview does not load?

Open the icon details page to check its source and license. Contact us if the asset or page link appears broken.

Which file formats can I export?

Download SVG directly, or use the browser tools to convert vector artwork to PNG or WebP and generate framework code.

Can I use SVG Nexus icons with React or Next.js?

Yes. Open an icon in Vector Studio and select the React or Next.js code target. Check the resulting source before adding it to your project.

Are SVG icons suitable for websites?

SVG artwork scales cleanly, but compatibility depends on the markup and renderer. Test the exported file in your target browser and review its license.

Are my SVG files uploaded when I edit them?

Editing and conversion run in your browser. Analytics records page views and selected actions, but this app does not send SVG contents, locally uploaded file names, or typed search text.

How do I verify an icon source and license?

Open the icon details page to review its recorded upstream source, license, and attribution notes. The original source terms govern reuse.

How do I report an issue or request an icon library?

Use the contact page and include the icon or library URL plus a short description so the request can be reviewed.
